How to Activate 2-Step Verification in Google

• Click on the link myaccount.google.com to open your Google Account
• If prompted, sign into your RIMSD google account
• In the navigation panel, on the left hand side, select Security.
• Under Signing in to Google, click 2-step verification. (See below image)

• Then Click Get Started  *It may ask you to verify your password again. (See below image)

Follow the directions to set up 2-step verification. Only 3 steps.

• Step 1: Once you have verified your information, it will ask you to set up your 2-step verification. Either by text message or Google prompt. You will have to enter your phone number. Then click Next. (See below image)

• Step 2: It will send a verification code via text to your phone. Enter the verification code. Click Next. (See below image)

• Step 3: You should get a window that says, It worked! Click "Turn on" (See below image)
