Projector Overheating Issue

You may get a warning to clean the filter or the projector will start turning off periodically as it is tries to stay on.  Your projector may have become clogged with dust and/or debris in the air filter and needs to be cleaned out. I've attached a basic guide that should help you through the process of cleaning and maintaining the projector filter.
