Student is not showing in GoGuardian Teacher

Here are a few suggestions when you cannot see a student in GoGuardian. This often happens if a Chromebook has not been on the network in a while, the student is new to your classroom, and has not been synced.

  1. Make sure the student has joined your Google Classroom if you added your classes by Google sync
  2. Have the student restart the Chromebook.
  3. Click sync your Google Classroom in GoGuardian
     
    Also, the student must be actively browsing on Chrome so that activity may be seen on the teacher's end.
    GoGuardian Teacher works with a setting in the Chrome browser, that sets user to idle after 5 minutes of inactivity. In GoGuardian Teacher this results in the students showing up as offline.
